But I had to have Nash-eoke's sister Cabbit , err rabbit = ^ _ ^ = Toky-Ohki put down Several of weeks back, my big Black Havana bunny girl.
She would have been 7 in a couple of months.

Ah, that's awful news. I'm sorry to hear it (and my many apologies for not responding sooner).
*Sends Nan-ohki and the other cabbits over with hugs and tea.*

My best picture of Toky-Ohki in Nash's Garden No 53 , Barbies house . In front of the Skimmia Japonica. Toky-Ohki in the at No 22 , Grandpa Rex's old flat . Being a good girl and not jumping off the office swivel chair Toky-Ohki making herself familiar with =^o^= Schneeball who's in the pen at No53 with Guinea pigs Waterbelly and Rumbler , Toky usualy had full roam of the garden although she never usualy went far , and spent most of her time hiding and making it hard for us to catch her , and counter attacking our every movement. Toky bullduzzing the snow one year at No53 , nibbling on the chilled grass underneath. Toky Ninja Wahhhh ! ! , huur. Toky during the Easter 2007 photo shoot looking rather rampant. Chilling out at easter time @ No53

Yes after her brother Nash-eoke died , Toky realy was our main bunny. But eventualy her breed showed it's true colours and she gradually even more became more lazy we eventualy in the last year had to give her regular cleaning as she was too lazy to move from the place she done her buisness . obviously she thought it was warm and comfortable.
In the end urine burning her rump she developed a classic doe bunny's enflamed spine causing her back legs to leave her and her digestion to fail.
So Toky-Ohki eventualy fell to the same gastric complaint that Nash-eoke did all those years ago but was to weak to to fight , it just took 7 years to catch Toky out.
Still overall Toky was'nt much trouble in the time we had her and it was'nt as if she was in the vets all the time because she was'nt . She had to have a small benine lump removed from near one of her nips some time back.
I would haved like another Doe bunny maybe a Lionhead , Dutch or English , but the relationship between me and old Barbie is a wee bit volatile and I dont think either of us would want another pet that would tie us together. Shame realy.
But Barbie does like to dig weeny little thing up from the past and go against common sense , saying things that blindingly obviously are'nt true . but then the old girl is a Christian methodist and thrives on a good argument and then gives you the silent treatment which only makes things worse.
So I doubt if the Cabbits will ever be replaced . Time has moved on and things have changed offline as well as online and I am busy and just dont want the hassle. Still I have =^o^= Schneeball to keep me going for another 6 or 7 years.
The Chinchilla blue bunny boy is the last of my realtime lagomorph companion now.
I found some old pictures of Nash-eoke and Toky-Ohki taken before I joined the Cabbit Patch in Oct 2004 , they date from Oct 2002 and show Nashie and Toky four moths after I got them . I might post the pics up some time soon.
=^-^=
Nash.
