If you all had one wish (if you word it wrong there wouldn't be confusion and you'd still get what you want) what would it be?

Awwwwww man... I have several; however, if I have to have only One... I would wish for everyone to stop hating each other.

How so? Hate is what is creating the chaos in the world currently. If it is eliminated wouldn't things improve?
Hmm. If I had one wish it probably would be directed towards someone very close to my heart. I would wish for eternal happiness for him. Yup, yup.

...true, but there needs to be a balance, since when you have one extreme the other will kick you in the butt soon enough.
and that's a good wish X3

She's right. You can't have good without evil, life without death, love without hate. There is a balance in everything, and despite what the chaos may look like on the surface, there is always an underlying balance. There's no reward in not struggling to earn something or to get past an obstacle. There would be no satisfaction.
Every time I hear that stupid "I wish for world peace." line, I roll my eyes and make faces at the speaker. Yes, it would be nicer if humans could totally get along, but it's just silly and not only unrealistic, but destructive despite good intentions. It works against human nature and balance. It can't work, and no-one should want such behavior - a world without hate would be very creepy and very controlled like a mass mind. Think worse than the sheep you see in school - think hive. We would eventually begin to lose personality and emotion all together.
I would wish that dogs had longer life spans.

We would eventually begin to lose personality and emotion all together. I do agree with this, but, given the main post, I would say it's a fair enough wish. If someone said tomorrow "Right, let's have world peace!" and everyone agreed, you are absolutely correct, it would either fail dismally or result in some kind of Orwellian society. In a game of "If you could wish for anything...", though, I think it's fair. Part of the wish would be for everyone to be as happy and unique as they wanted, because that could be seen as a part of world peace. Incidentally, blame any incoherency or oddness (such as why I am commenting so seriously in such a lighthearted thread) on the insanity six young boys holding a birthday party on the floor below you provokes.
